School's out for Summer!!!!

I have wrapped up my first year of Kindergarten. I really enjoyed school this year.  I loved my teacher, Mrs. Strickland and I am going to miss her very much.  Some of my favorite this from the school year were:  writing/drawing in my journal everyday, Math stations, and reading (which has improved tremendously over the year.)

Before we said goodbye to the school year we had some fun with a musical program and also a field trip to a local farm.
On the bus, ready to go!
Just after coming down the slide.  I liked this slide because it went underground.

This is the introduction at my school program.  I was chosen to help introduce the show.  (My line was "Thank you for joining us.")  I was super excited and practiced all week.  During the rest of our show we sang songs and recited nursery rhymes.

Six!

Well I am officially six!  I had a great birthday celebration(s) this year!  I celebrated with my family, took a treat to school to celebrate with classmates, then finally had a party with my friends!  What a celebration it was.  I want to thank everyone who celebrated with me either in person or in spirit and thank you for all of the thoughtful presents too!
Setting up for the party with Pops!

This year I had a party with my friends too.  We celebrated at Pump It Up.  It was a ton of fun and I was exhausted when it was all over.

I'm baaaack!!!!!!

Being a child of the technology generation, one would think I would be more likely to keep up with my blogging.  Alas, the last couple of months have been busy so I am a little behind.  I hope to fix the situation over the next couple of days and get everyone up to date!

Mentioning technology...my mom tells me when she was young she had to call her friends on the phone and talk to them without seeing them.  And she was usually stuck in the kitchen or dining room, because that is as far as the cord (whatever that is) would reach.  When I want to talk to my friends I get to use FaceTime.  Here I am chatting with my friend, Avery.  Mom would like me to point out that Avery and I did not really "talk" during this call.  We mostly giggled!
