Just Add Water

This past weekend was a busy one! Mommy, Daddy and I enjoyed the beautiful weather and we spent time with family and friends. It all started on Saturday when I helped Mommy and Daddy water plants.

I did a pretty good shop keeping the water over the plants. I only got Daddy a little bit wet!

On Sunday, Grandma picked up Mommy and me and we headed up to Springboro. Daddy went to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Knapp. Grandma also had Aunt Anna and Megan with her. I was so excited to see Megan! I knew we would have lots of fun. First we went to Mass to hear Maria sing. She has such a beautiful voice!. After Mass we all went to Panera for breakfast. Then on the way to the Portman's, Megan and I took a nap so we could rest up for the afternoon fun.
We visited a sprinkle park and played in the water. Mostly Mommy and Maria carried me around and I splashed my hands in the water. Sometimes the water would surprise us and rain down on top of us too!
One of my favorite things about the park was the swing set and playground that was nearby. Megan and I had lots of fun in our swings and Maria took turns with us on the slides.

It was such a fun weekend that I was worn out! I was so tired that on my way to bed Monday night, I had to stop for a little rest on the steps.

We do ZOO!

One of my very favorite places to visit is the ZOO! Almost everyday I ask Mommy and Daddy if we can go to the zoo. On Saturday we finally went back to the zoo! (It had been a whole week and a half since I had visited.) This visit was extra special because we met Curious George! I love watching and reading Curious George. I was a little shy meeting George, but by the time we were finished visiting with him I said, "Good-bye George" and blew him a kiss!

While we were at the zoo we ran into my second cousin Corinne. She was spending the day with her Mommy and Daddy too! It was good to see her again and she just became a big sister. She has twin baby sisters. Congratulations Corinne! (and Betsy and Brett too!)

Children's Museum!

A couple of weeks ago Mommy, Daddy, and I went to the Children's Museum. I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the little grocery store, the sand table, and the slide. I also had fun putting mail in all of the little mailboxes.

A little calypso music anyone?
