To: Aunt Geri; From: Megan and Natalie with Love...
Natalie: Yeah Megan?
Megan: Did you send that package to Great Aunt Geri in Seattle?
Natalie: Yep, just dropped it off at the post office. Megan, do you know where Seattle is?
Megan: Well according to her blog it is to the left.
Natalie: Oh, okay! Megan?
Megan: Yeah Natalie?
Natalie: Which way is left?
Megan: I think it is that way.

Thanksgiving Part I....
Megan: "Say Natalie, have your heard about this thing called Christmas?"
Natalie: "I am not sure but it has something to do with presents and somebody named Santa."
Both: "Let's go find Grandma, maybe she can tell us more!"
Gobble, Gobble!
On Turkey Day we went to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Bob's. We had a great time and ate lots of good food. I hung out with all of my cousins on Mommy's side.

Storytime with Maria
CHOMP!

It has been a couple of weeks since I have made an entry. There are a few things to catch everyone up on...we celebrated Mommy's birthday by going out to brunch and visiting the art museum; I am rolling over from back to tummy and tummy to back; I sit up all by myself; I sleep on my side; and I can even stand up for a little bit. The biggest news of all is I now have two teeth!

Natalie: The First Six Months...
Today I am six months old. What an amazing world! There are so many people for me to meet, so many places to visit and so much to take in! Here are a few things that I have learned over the last six months:
- There is no better place to fall asleep than on Daddy's chest or shoulder.
- Storytime with Mom is great.
- You get a different view of the world when you are lying on your tummy instead of your back.
- My Grandmas are just as excited to see me as I am to see them!
- Rolling over is harder than it looks.
- Splashing around in the bath is fun.
- Cousins are super fun to hang out with!
- Carrots are yummy but sweet potatoes are yummier!
- There are lots and lots of people who love me!
- Something called Halloween.
- Thanksgiving
- Meeting someone named Santa Claus
- My first snow fall
- My first tooth
- Crawling/walking
- and BIRTHDAY CAKE!

4 month Check-up(date)
On Friday I went to the doctor for my FOUR month check-up! I got a two thumbs up. I am 25.75" long and I weigh 13 lbs. 2 oz. The doctor and I had a nice conversation and Daddy made me laugh, which the doctor was happy to hear. I was also told I could start eating cereal. It is going to take some getting used to!

We're going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...
Sunday was absolutely beautiful! The weather was perfect, so Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo. We had a great time.

Here we are on the carousel. I liked watching all of the animals move up and down. When I am bigger I will be able to ride on one of the animals...

...like the Okapi

While we had our lunch a Mommy peacock and her two chicks were wondering around our table.

We also rode the train. That was my favorite part, there was so much to see.
We did not get a lot of pictures of animals but we did see quite a few. We watched as people fed the giraffes, and I hope I am allowed to feed the giraffes some day. We saw the manatees, the black bear, and the polar bear.
I can't wait until I go back!

Megan

On Thursday evening I met my newest cousin! Megan Taylor was born on Wednesday, August 6th. Congratulations Aunt Beth and Uncle Joe!
Since Megan and I are close in age and geography I think we will be doing a lot of fun stuff together. Here are a few ideas I have: sleep overs at each other's houses, sleepovers together at Grandma's house, having playdates, playing with our dolls together, playing dress up, going for ice cream, going to the zoo, going to Kings Island, going to the Children's Museum, going shopping with our mommies, riding bikes together, watching Disney Princess movies, playing hopscotch, jumping rope, reading Harry Potter, eating pizza at LaRosa's, playing cards with our Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and Grandma, and going galavanting!

Movin' and a Groovin'
Whenever Mommy and Daddy put me on the Pack n' Play to change me, I love to wiggle and kick my legs. Here is a little video for your enjoyment. (note: sorry no sound.)
Toys...
I have a couple of favorite toys.
I recently received a little turtle that lights up and plays music. It will help me learn my colors and shapes. At first I wasn't sure about it, but now I enjoy watching the colors.
I also like my John Deere keys. I am able to hold onto the ring and shake them myself. When Daddy picks me up from the babysitter we often play with these toys until Mommy comes home or I fall asleep.
